The next two months were a flurry of activity. The Harmonics performed with Hook Slide. The Harmonics' 00-01 album, PHONOSHOP, was nominated for one of the four best mixed a cappella albums in the nation. The Harmonics hosted the UM Dicks & Janes one week and the next week sang with Everyday People and at Memorial Auditorium for Parent's Weekend.  In general, the Harmonics spent a LOT of time with one another. But it was okay, because they all found one another terribly attractive.

At the beginning of March, the group had the good fortune to do a three-day stint in Los Angeles, primarily for the First Annual All-State A Cappella Festival at UCLA, but really also because Los Angeles is far more exciting than Stanford and it was a good excuse to perform (read: hang out with one another). The weekend saw performances at Burbank and Brentwood high schools, UCLA, Hollywood, the streets of LA, and the Spaghetti Factory (they didn't really have a choice).  Barely three weeks later and the group was off to the East Coast for SPRING TOUR 2002!!!  Suffice it to say that tour was absolutely amazing and far too much fun to describe in this history. While on tour, the Harmonics had the opportunity to sing with numerous groups, including  the group's favorites, Penn 6-5000. Surprisingly, travel by limos was cheaper than the air or rail alternatives, so the Harmonics lived in style.

Just when the year couldn't get any better, the Harmonics held their spring show. Widely hailed as one of the best a cappella spring shows ever held on Stanford campus, "Magic Moments" was a hillarious Harmonics soap opera spin that incorporated over 18 of the group's songs.A t the end of the year, most of the group decided to return. Given the success of the 2001-2002 year and the possibilities of a new year and new additions to the group, the Harmonics have nothing but optimism and confidence that the 2002-2003 year will be rewarding and ridiculously fun.
