2025 - 2026

The Harmonics set huge milestones this year.

The first is our upcoming album, being 11 songs long and fully recorded during one academic year, a serious challenge! This major recording project is a testament to this group's ambition, determination, and skills in not only performance but also collaboration and organization. Our upcoming album follows Event Horizon, which since its release in 2025 was nominated for multiple CARA awards and featured on Voices Only and BOCA.

The second milestone was our first international tour to Shanghai, during which we performed for an audience of 100+ people and collaborated with local a cappella and choir groups. It was an immense privilege to be able to share our music live internationally, and to learn from some of Shanghai's singing communities. The icing on the cake for this year was that, in addition to our winter and spring concerts, we were able to participate in four inter-a cappella showcases, perform three gigs on and off-campus, host a campus-wide karaoke party, and film a music video in promotion of our new album, our first in years!

This was an extremely eventful year complimented by talented newbies who had us rolling out to Stanford Improvisor shows and Music Department productions, showing up at Cardinal Nights events, and gaining an addiction to the video games Mario Party Jamboree and Boomerang Fu.
